Settlement Update
By order dated October 15, 2007, the Court directed the Distribution Agent to pay all validated claims. These payments were issued on Friday, October 19, 2007. For more information, please go to Recent Settlement Events.

This website provides information about the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) Settlement with the Federal National Mortgage Association – better known to the public as “Fannie Mae.” On this website, you will find detailed information about the Settlement, who is eligible to receive a payment from the Settlement, and answers to frequently asked questions, including how to submit a claim for payment.

Under the SEC Settlement, approximately $350 million is available for distribution to certain investors who purchased Fannie Mae common stock between January 14, 1999 and December 22, 2004, or Class N preferred stock between September 25, 2003 and December 22, 2004.
